SAP executives are saying the Sybase database option is about “customer choice”
Given this customer centricity mood SAP finds itself in I am going to ask them next week at Sapphire when they plan to:
- support Zoho and Google Docs not just Microsoft Office so their customers also have desktop choices
- offer their customers Rimini’s basic maintenance at about half the price of their own
- resell NetSuite and salesforce.com to customers who want more proven SaaS alternatives to ByD
