Dennis Howlett summarizes all the hand wringing around the “shootout” last month at the Sapience conference between the SAP BusinessByDesign and NetSuite.
My question is would SAP have taken part? And if it had would it have scored better? As I wrote after the event, I gave SAP the benefit of the doubt during Sapience and scored it generously.
If SAP is ready to participate in a shootout where it gets to put a fair foot forward, I will be happy to be a jurist in a repeat performance.
But why do I get the impression to set it up and go through all the posturing will make the legal maneuvering around America’s Cup look like child’s play?
First things first: Is SAP ready – really, really ready to put BBD to public scrutiny?
