Given the disruption theme of my blog, I am pleased to welcome Agresso, which certainly understands disruption with its focus on Businesses Living IN Change ™ (BLINC for short). It is the sixth largest mid-market ERP vendor in the world with FY 2008 revenues of $525 million.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, it has a number one market share for ERP and financial solutions in the public sector for many countries in Europe, and is expanding well in North America – its fastest growing business region. In the first half of 2009 (the worst enterprise software economy in decades), Agresso grew its year over year revenues 18% in North America, with a number of $1M+ deals.
It operates under two brands: Agresso Business World and Coda Financials. The Agresso Business world ERP suite supports unlimited change at the GUI level at 2,900 customers. The Coda Financials Link ™ architecture emphasizes its SOA backbone to plug seamlessly into various software connection partners. Coda, which was acquired by the parent holding company Unit4Agresso in 2008, offers both a SaaS and on-premise model to its 2,800 customers.
It's good to have them join the gallery of innovators and disruptors who sponsor this and the New Florence. New Renaissance blog.
