During a break at the appirio CIO Cloud Summit last week, the CEO, Chris Barbin and I talked about a cloud maturity model. Then I notice my friend Brian Sommer quoting an HP executive about cloud maturity.
I wish Brian had asked this HP exec how many clients he has helped transition to cloud computing – what his and HP’s track records are when it comes to clouds.
I would be willing to bet lots of money Chris would run circles around this HP executive with a track record he described in his Cloud Pioneers guest column earlier this year.
So Brian asked in his column “Is your IT shop mature enough for Cloud Computing”? As the title of my post says, I would substitute “vendor” for “shop”…
