Sorry for mangling Keynes – but I see GM promising 230 mpg on its Volt due out late next year. I see a HP white paper promising 50 to 1 data deduplication results.
OK, GM, that high a mpg is fantastic, but how about total cost per mile? No GM car showed up in the last Consumer Reports lowest TCO listing with a low purchase price combined with high fuel economy.
Ditto with HP – that level of de-duping is impressive, how about showing us if you can compete with amazon or Microsoft Azure storage on a per GB/per month basis?
Also, can we please see what you have today, not a few years from now?
