Intacct, along with CPA2Biz, a subsidiary of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is rolling out the Intacct Accountants Program.
"With a single system, CPAs can serve clients of different sizes, industries and across geographies, as well as deliver offerings ranging from financial statement preparation to outsourced accounting and CFO services. Using cloud accounting applications significantly reduces travel, gives CPA firm staff the flexibility to work remotely, and substantially lowers information technology expenses."
Dan Druker of Intacct made the point in his column in the "Cloud Pioneer" series on this blog last month and it has been ringing in my ears since:
If conservative CPAs can embrace the cloud, are not mainstream organizations about to do it in droves?
