Starbuck on the radio made my morning.
And I asked myself why does that song lift me up so much? Is it the fact that it celebrates the Chesapeake Bay area?
Or is it the marimba?
Then it occurred to me I have always enjoyed oddballs.
- Like the sitar in Norwegian Wood
- Like the fiddle in Sweet Talking Woman
- Like the accordion and banjo in Mr. Bojangles
Each has some unusual musical instrument and an unusual theme.
Kinda fits with the theme of disruption and innovation on my blogs.
