When Sprint announced its $ 99.99 unlimited voice, data, text, GPS etc plan a year ago I wrote:
"$ 89.99 a month is much more realistic price for the bundle Sprint is offering. $ 79.99 for just unlimited voice and data. And $ 59.99 a month for unlimited voice only."
Sounds like T-Mobile is down to $ 50 for voice and $ 35 for data and text for a total of $ 85. Oh, they are being saying it's only for "select" customers - but the definition of "select" is likely pretty loose. Hopefully they learned from their hotspot pricing which they kept too high for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised a couple of months ago, they now have a $ 2.99 an hour option. Perfect for when you are changing planes at an airport.
But get this - Sprint's prepaid unit Boost has an everything for $ 50 plan. And no contract period.
Wonder how long Verizon can sustain their $ 150 rate, and AT&T their$ 130 plan - voice for $ 100, and data and text for $ 30.
