Says Leo Apotheker about Compaq expressing his view they went too far in outsourcing their design, manufacturing etc.
This from the chief salesman of a company which tries to convince every CIO to outsource all design and manufacturing of software code to them.
And Compaq was one such company which bought into SAP's vision but ended up needing to implement Siebel, i2, ICC and several other products.
Hey, may be that is the real reason it "wound up just being a logo" :)
