Google introduces Chrome, a new browser - Microsoft had a browser with that name it killed a while ago :)
Google has delivered its share of Easter eggs, gags and hoaxes over the years as this PC World gallery lays out
For a brief period, though, I had feared Google was losing its sense of humor. If you see slide 15 in the gallery above, step 13 in the directions to Italy said "Swim across the Atlantic Ocean, 3462 miles". If you run the same query today, Google Maps returns a boring "we cannot calculate directions"
So, it's good to see Google rested and Chrome-tanned and its sense of humor still intact.
