Cloud Computing Panel at Office 2.0
I was part of a panel at the Office 2.0 panel with Vance Checketts (Mozy EMC), Josh Fraser (RightScale), Paul Lappas (GoGrid) and Barry Lynn (3tera) - moderated by Mike Copeland of Fortune
While the economics, variable consumption model and the ability to turn capex to opex are attractive, several panelists made the “time to market” observation – how quickly you can provision new infrastructure using the cloud model.
