Feeling guilty about abandoning your iPhone you were so proud of just a few months ago - to get the 3G version? Well, just re-purpose it and use it as just a plain old phone.
Courtesy of this ComputerWorld blog the brainwave to leave a mobile phone in the car to get a better signal and use a bluetooth headset or speaker phone in the home. "Bluetooth does a better job in this situation of communicating through this structure. It can go through walls and while signals can be affected by metal and other barriers, it does a better job than some other wireless technologies at overcoming that,"
And use the new iPhone 3G at home as MP3, camera, SIP phone and more...
Of course, I can hear the excuses - the bluetooth range is too short to cover my whole house, even my garage does not get a good signal, I don't want to pay AT&T for 2 iPhones...
fine, just listen to Simon and Garfunkel and get rid of the first iPhone you were so proud of a few months ago....
