I thought it would be nice to summarize what my fellow Irregulars thought of how the larger enterprise vendors showed at the Enterprise 2.0 conference. Prior to the event, David Berlind was not pleased several Enterprise Irregulars had called them "drag queens" showing up at a young party.
Sandy Kemsley and Susan Scrupski both raved about IBM (Sandy has coverage of several other sessions at the event). Dennis Howlett (and Sandy and several others) thought Oracle and Microsoft showed their age.
I would go along with their view on IBM, if IBM can show me how their economics are evolving into E2.0 mode as Jevon McDonald lays out.
Personal cynical view - IBM has just learned to put make up better than the others.
