OK, so everything as a service is in vogue, but would you pay $ 9.25 a month plus $ 2.35 per gb for EMC's storage as a service?
Compare this to Maxtor 1 TB for around $ 400..you own it free and clear
or amazon.com's storage as a service, S3 at 15c a gb (plus 0.10 per gb for data in and 18c per gb for data out)
Realize it is a strong brand, so more peace of mind about business continuity, but worth $ 2 a gb a month more?
