One of the nice bonuses at the SAP Influencer Summit was a chance to spend time with several Enterprise Irregulars from far and wide. Yes in geographies, but more impressively in personal interests.
Sig Rinde, who lives in Juan-Les-Pins in the South of France after a nomadic life away from his Norwegian roots, and writes his Thingamy blog James Governor, wild man from London, UK who writes the Redmonk blog. Also a global nomad originally born in New Orleans. Prashanth Rai, from Chennai, India who writes the CIO Reinvented blog. Maggie Fox, a bit closer from Toronto, Canada, who writes the Social Media Group blog
Over the two days we argued about politics (brutal since I seem to be only Bush fan left), worst airline (Sig lost his bag, Prashanth described his middle seat experiences from India), wine (James got brutalized for only ordering whites), dress code (Sig, Rai and Maggie look sharp in anything they wear. James and I, well...) and generally anything we could argue about. Yes, that included heated commentary on SAP and each executive we met.
These are seasoned travelers. I admire how awake they were. What's jet lag, when there is another lively debate to join? -)
Update: Zoli posts photo of group from the Summit.
