As I read yet another interview with the CEO of GE, this time in India, it hits me
Here is a man:
a) who intimately understands most major sectors of the economy - utilities, finance, aviation, healthcare, media, more b) would coach other US CEOs on generation of trade surpluses and help shrink the big US deficit c) knows most world leaders by first name and would restore respect for the US d) would put Six Sigma discipline in our bureacrats e) would push for a higher level of transparency in all aspects of politics
and on and on.
The big question is why would he do it? But nothing wrong in asking...we have had politicans and military leaders as Presidents, why not a businessman? A global leader at that.
