WSJ writes about SAP's labor issues with globalization.
Henning Kagermann was asked by a German reporter at last year's Sapphire and I was pleased to see him respond "We are a global company with German headquarters".
My point to SAP's disgruntled employees, as it is to Lou Dobbs, is if you want the revenues and rewards from globalization, be prepared to become global in other ways - employee base, brand, standards etc. Cannot have it one way. Ditto for Indian firms. IBM employees.
Personally, I find it depressing. I consider the tech sector color blind but clearly we have lots more to do. But it is good to see leaders like Henning say: There cannot be even a minute where you debate" globalization"
