My wife dragged me to the movie The Vacation. Definitely a "chick flick" but while she drooled over Jude Law, I marveled over Eli Wallach.
At 92, he steals the show (at least to this unromantic male). Long after co-stars Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen from the Magnificent Seven (1960) have passed on Tuco keeps going.
Now if he would blog, he could vie for the title of the World's Oldest Blogger. But then again more than just another title, I would like Hollywood to reward him with something just as enduring and shiny.
PS - Just found out Jude Law and Michael Caine are remaking Sleuth. Jude will play the role Michael did in the 1972 version as he matched wits with Laurence Olivier in that thriller. Somehow, I have a feeling I will not be able to drag my wife to that! She likes happy endings -)
