says the letter from Chrysler.
As I wrote here serves me right for having a name like mine.
But this letter is confirming a transaction which has my vehicle's VIN, my credit card and it was initiated at a dealer we religiously take our cars to many times a year. Do they have any concept of master data management?
Notice how many companies keep asking for more and more personal data and then not use it - or worse, lose it. Hotels which have your email address on file, but request it again when you ask for a confirmation to be sent. Credit card companies which insist on asking for all kinds of information on your first born, pets - and then proceed to lose the data to hackers and in transit.
I showed the letter to my wife. Her solution - change the name to hers - Newman, so much easier. Sure like NEUMAN, NEUMANN, NAUMAN, NAUMANN, NUMAN, VON NEUMANN.
Come to think of it Microchandani has a nice tech feel to it...
