I was planning to take the kids and some visitors to the Red Sox-Rays game today. But the games have been near sold out. I hear it is cheaper for Boston fans to fly down and catch a game here. And our indoor stadium is a lot more comfortable than the summer they have had.
Little annoying to see local fans outshouted 4 to 1, but you got to feel good for the local business people.
And if the local team, with one fifth the payroll, wins the series as we just did - heck, even less reason to complain.
Come on down, Yankee fans - though with their spring training roots here the crowds are even more lopsided against the home team. Just bring plenty of cash -)
