Sound familiar? It is from a speech David Packard, then Chairman of HP made in 1976. Ravi Ramakrishnan (who works for HP) shared with me a copy of HP's Measure magazine from that year.

Two things I am glad of - HP's history of ethics. And that somebody still keeps paper copies of old stuff and makes them now available in PDF format.
