I heard Arlo this morning after who knows how long. After hearing that how can you not believe train engines have souls - not just Thomas and his friends on the Island of Sodor?
Talking about inanimate engines and souls made me think about the statement "Enterprise software is entirely bereft of soul" recently made by David Girourard of Google.
So, as I keep humming to Arlo, it strikes me if Google is Thomas, then who is Diesel, the evil engine?
"...Good mornin' America, how are you?
Don't you know me? I'm your native son!..."
