apologies to Manfred Mann, but Lou Dobbs is really on a roll (well ok, a spin) - he has shifted from offshoring to immigration and raised the volume even more.

Ratings are up. It's like watching one of those "makeover" shows that turn nerds into fops or bathrooms into ballrooms."

Not sure this is about liberal versus conservative media. I will happily support Lou's views if he can answer these questions for me:
Are we ready for the rest of the world to similarly block American products, labor etc from entering their markets? Are we ready to accept GE, Microsoft, Boeing, Coke, Oracle, Disney - and CNN (which brags about its global team of 4,000 professionals) shrinking to half their size?
I wish Lou had a blog - I would pose these questions to him each day. And what it feels to be a fop.
