His dad Bill Hopkins, my former Gartner colleague, now helps coach vendors on how to deal with industry analysts like Gartner. Sportsmanlike is not a term I would use to describe vendor reaction when Gartner magic quadrants come out.
Next year, I suggest we have a National Blogmanship Day. Lord knows we could use some etiquette! I bet you Will and Garret and Patrick and Courtney could whip us into shape shame.
