So, this weekend I decided to visit my local, long distance, DSL, wireless and other service providers - cousins of Sprint. I wrote earlier that our connectivity costs exceed all our other utilities put together. I switched carriers in some cases, changed plans in others - and think I have reduced the bill by $ 150 a month. Still more to go, but a nice start.
Of course, when you slice the budget you get a nice little bonus. Telecomm taxes approach 20% - just look at this list of what we get hit for...and this one.
Cuneo, Tattaglia, Strachi and Barzini, and Moe Green - let's see who else is left...nah, nothing as dramatic as what Michael Corleone did , but it was a good Saturday's work!
