This is about a spartan, but functional and cheap - $ 22 a night - hotel room in Bangalore, India. In this post I complained about exorbitant hotels like the Leela there.
May not be to every one's taste, but if I am a fan of operationally efficient businesses like Southwest, and frankly a safe location, a clean bed and facilities and wireless access is often all the amenities I expect in an overnight room. It sure is nice to have a restaurant, a gym, a suite for a longer stay, a pillow mint - but at $ 250+ more a night?
