As a follow up to my post Process Angioplasty: Rebates I did end up sending a letter to the CEO of Circuit City, and I got a call back and an email confirming they were processing the rebate. A few months late, but worth the effort to get $ 150.
On the other hand I raved about Best Buy's on line rebates. Turns out for manufacturer (as against store) rebates you still have to mail them in. Doing that now for a new computer. Wish I could BPO the 5 separate packages I have to create.
Still think rebate processing is a great candidate for process angioplasty. Give instant rebates at POS. Or even better - move to EDLP.
