Chris Selland keeps waiting for me to finally say the software market is consolidated - game over.
Since the last time he prodded me, I have seen even more new software vendor names in
a) SaaS vendors brought together by salesforce.com in its appexchange
b) new open source vendors that were funded in 2005
c) Indian software product companies (as against outsourcing services companies)
d) China's small but rapidly growing software and services vendors
e) this list of promising tech vendors in Europe - they still have a pulse!
Sorry, Chris you will have to wait a little longer...
