Is it just me, or is fine print in ads getting more creative these days?

• Credit history reports for "Free" - unless you cancel within 7 days your credit card is charged $ 14.95 a month for a monitoring fee
• iPhone 3G at "half the price" - but the AT&T network attached costs more than around first generation
• CDs "paying 8%" - if you open a non-interest bearing checking account with minimum daily balance equal to the CD
