The State of Innovation in India

Bernard Lunn touches on the topic here , identifies the strides in the last decade and points to vendors like Zoho and Novatium - but asks where is the killer app from India?

Nasscom would say the answer is somewhere in their list of 100 "innovative" firms.

My answer would be the most satisfying "killer app" are better somewhere behind a firewall at a customer. To me helping CIOs deliver innovation magic is so much better than vendors bragging about their own "innovations".

And as I have written before one of the best innovation outsourcing firms, still the dominant output from India, can deliver is that in optimizing their own operations.
