I first saw the expression at Paul Kedrsosky's
Now comes Sun's projection that the massive data centers Google is building will consume more energy than small cities and be security targets similar to refineries and nuclear plants.
While currency markets debate the relative purchasing power of petro-dollar versus petro-euro, I say go with Petro-Google...especially for the holidays.
