The SAP/Oracle version of the Google Home Page
Ask SAP how it would redo the barebones, overly-simple, too-much-wasted-white-space Google home page. They would start with this (page through to the end).
Next they would add another 8 steps. Reduce font size. Replace repeated words with numeric codes and add a bunch of tables. Add Dynpro concepts.
You should end up with something like this. Of course, they would also provide 32 different language versions.
Now bring in Oracle. They would use SmartClient design principles and PeopleTools. Add FlexFields in 30% of the fields. Drop 28 of the 32 languages. But add a bunch of stored procedures.
At this point you should be ready to bring in Lawson Software.

This reminds me of the parody on how Microsoft would design the packaging for the iPod. It's even better than this parody ... but this was pretty good, too.
