Searching for Jim Gray

Several technology companies joined authorities in a high tech search for missing Jim Gray. amazon allowed use of its Mechanical Turk to allow the community to scan various tiles of satellite imagery. Oracle's spatial and imaging teams jumping in. The Tenacious Search blog catalogs other efforts including analyzing cell phone data and looking at webcam data. I hope there is a happy ending but good to see the tech industry jump in to find one of its best - and showcase how future searches for even the average Joe could become much more sophisticated.
