I spoke to Dennis Howlett recently and he was gushing about exciting work he is doing for his clients. He asked me how I am doing. And I think he was surprised I said - same old, same old...just helping clients save money. Jason Busch writes a nice blog about our sourcing work. Much as I love my corporate clients and we save them lots of money, the real exciting thing about my work is the realization that at least some of those savings are funding innovation with new technologies and vendors. Which in turn keeps people like Dennis and Jason busy with exciting work with such vendors. And allows me to blog about the New Renaissance here.
The circle of technology life stays in equilibrium. Just like the Feng Shui manual for our industry recommends.
